I once participated in a school singing competition and forgot my lyrics on stage because I was too nervous, so that first scene was painfully relatable lol...easily the most embarrassing day of my entire life. ^^;

Never messed up singing... but I once misspelled "squirrel" at a spelling bee, and I've never gotten over it. Such a stupid, simple word to mess up on. >_< Before then I went to every spelling bee I could... never entered another one after that.

To this day, occasionally I'll be going along with my daily life and suddenly my brain will grind to a halt and spontaneously recite s-q-u-i-r-r-e-l.

So…how did you spell it on the spelling bee? ^^;

Ah, the word 'spelling bee' reminds me of an embarassing slip up I made myself in my English course.

Embarassing, but at the same time a fond memory as well. I mispronounced the word 'superb' as 'superbee'.

Haha, when I was in Kindergarten the teacher wrote a word on the board and asked us if anyone knew what it was. The word she wrote? Sugar.

I raised my hand enthusiastically and was called upon. 5-year-old-me's answer? Cigar. *facepalm* A mispronunciation, sure, but I also thought it was actually the word cigar.

I try to avoid those things. One wrong move and it becomes hellish.

Sometimes my brain likes to bully me with random memories of all the cringy fails I've had over the years... feels bad😰
